About
Kompott was founded in 2009 somewhere between London and Warsaw. Today, it is one of the most interesting design studios based in Poland (and Eastern Europe). They consult for international clients in the field of product, furniture, packaging or graphics, as well as service design and interaction.
They believe in Design Thinking. They look for smart solutions based on the observations of human behaviours, and are particularly interested in creating new typologies. Creating the product they work closely with a client, conducting a thorough research that considers the needs of the company: their brand strategy, market and production possibilities.
The studio is a partnership between Maja Ganszyniec and Krystian Kowalski, both Royal College of Art graduates in Design Product.
Nominated to the FX International Interior Design Award 2010 in the category Breakthrough Talent of the Year, showcased in Mint Gallery London or Milan Triennale, with publications in DOMUS, Interni and Newsweek US, they confirm the high quality of their work in each new project.
Collaborators: Pawel Jasiewicz (designer-maker) and Marcin Krygier (photographer and graphic designer)
